Empowering Mothers Through Socialization and Demonstration of Making Mackerel Fish Nuggets and Sweet Potato Pudding for Babies and Toddlers in Kramat Village

Abstract

Objective: This community service aiming to increase the participation of mother who have babies in an effort to stimulate growth and development. Method: Community Development approach is oriented towards efforts to develop community empowerment by making the community both the subject and object of development. Results: The pretest and posttest scores showed changes in the form of an increase in the number of participants who understood (67%) during the pre-test, then there was an increase in the number of participants who understood, namely (100%) during the post-test. Conclusion: There is an increase in the knowledge of mother who can understand and understand baby massage, and the skills of mother who have babies are found to mean that mother can practice massage on babies.
