The Empowerment of Cadres to Improve the Health Quality of Infants and Toddlers Through Education About Infant Massage in the Working Area of Watu Alo Health Center, Wae Ri'i District, Manggarai Regency
Abstrak
Growth and development in infants cannot be separated from the concept of growth and development. Parents can provide good stimulation for the development of their potential to the fullest. Growth and development is strongly influenced by adequate nutrition factors, a supportive family environment, one of which is by doing baby massage. Based on the survey results, it was found that the cadres and mothers in this area had never received counseling or training on proper and correct baby massage procedures. Local people usually take their babies to traditional massages carried out by traditional healers or massage them at home using methods they know best. The initial solution offered in this activity is to provide knowledge to the cadres about the basic theory of baby massage to improve baby health and the practice of baby massage so that the cadres better understand and understand how to massage babies properly and correctly. The conclusion of this activity is that this activity adds insight and experience to cadres, mothers who have toddlers and midwives so that they can provide information and disseminate knowledge gained to friends, relatives and the community around where they live, so that this information can be extended to the community.
