PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MENGENAI BUDIDAYA TANAMAN CABAI YANG UNGGUL PADA POT DI DESA DALUNG

Abstrak

Dalung village is a village that runs the Mandatory Chili Planting (WATANABE) program held by the Government because Dalung Village has a strategic location. The background of the writing of this scientific paper was a lack of understanding of the cultivation of chili plants and the lack of land considered by the community to cultivate chili plants. One of the things that can be done is to use the house yard by planting it in pots / polybags. This activity is carried out using the method of delivering material and is continued with planting practices. Activities carried out in the form of: 1) Extension, 2) Training, and 3) Demonstration. The results achieved from this activity are: 1) increased public understanding of superior chili plant cultivation in pots, 2) The community understands that the yard can be used as a place to cultivate chili plants using pot or poly bag planting media. This study aims to educate the public and increase public understanding of the cultivation of potted chilies.
