The area is directly exposed to the sea, which increases vulnerability. Public understanding of disaster mitigation is about 70%, based on informant data. This study aims to analyze disaster risks and public awareness of mitigation efforts. Conducted using qualitative methods in Sei Nagalawan Village, the research involved interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings highlight that coastal areas are highly susceptible to disasters due to natural and human factors. Coastal erosion, caused by continuous sea waves, threatens settlements, while tropical storms and strong winds often bring flash floods. Rising sea levels due to climate change and human activities, such as mangrove logging, exacerbate the region's vulnerability. Public awareness of environmental protection is still low, further increasing flood risks during heavy rainfall. The study concludes that the community faces significant risks, including abrasion and flash floods, worsened by environmental damage and climate change, particularly affecting local rice fields. Public awareness and disaster mitigation measures are insufficient, contributing to the region’s vulnerability. Strategies such as mangrove planting, environmental education, waste management, and early warning systems have been identified as vital for reducing disaster risks. Therefore, collaboration between the government and the community is essential to develop sustainable disaster risk mitigation programs and protect coastal ecosystems.
2025-03-04T14:26:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Susilawati Susilawati, Syaira Zhieka Ramadhani, Sabrina Cahyati Nasution, Novita Dwi Adriani, Rangga Muriansyah Daulay, Ahmad Fitra Naufalhttps://pkm.uika-bogor.ac.id/index.php/ABDIDOS/article/view/2300SAFEGUARDING PEOPLE'S VOTING RIGHTS IN THE 2024 ELECTION THROUGH THE SIDALIH WEBSITE2025-03-12T09:52:29+07:00Anak Agung Gede Angga Baskara Putragungemboel120803@gmail.comPutu Indah Dianti Putriindahdianti@undiknas.ac.id
The Tridharma of Higher Education regulates universities to solve problems in society, including through community service activities. Drug offenders frequently receive punishments based on court rulings that fall short of providing a sense of justice and legal clarity. Articles 114, 112, and 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics are among the provisions that are frequently utilized to trap offenders in drug-related crimes. As a result of the articles' multiple interpretations, drug dealers and other criminals will pretend to be victims of drug-related crimes. that this will affect the imposition of short sentences, leading to unfairness in the process of implementation. The data and facts gathered by examining court rulings pertaining to criminal penalties against drug offenders and connecting them to relevant laws and regulations constitute the normative legal nature of this research, which is a method that describes or explains a fact in a methodical manner. According to the study's findings, this appears to be far more challenging in the realm of drug law enforcement. It appears that our law enforcement is ingrained in prioritizing criminal consequences. On a local, national, and worldwide scale, extraordinary encouragement is required. The high prevalence of tooth loss and untreated caries indicated inadequate access to dental care and a lack of awareness regarding oral hygiene. The primary challenges identified were the absence of preventive measures and limited access to restorative treatment. To address this issue, educational programs on oral health, preventive interventions such as fluoride applications, and improved access to dental care are essential. The study concludes that increased community awareness and dental services are necessary to reduce caries prevalence and improve oral health in rural populations.
2025-03-13T15:02:58+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jennifer Widjaja, Eveline Yulia Darmadi, Yessy Andriani Fauziah, Yemy Ameliana, Nurfitri Amaliahhttps://pkm.uika-bogor.ac.id/index.php/ABDIDOS/article/view/2647PREPARATION OF STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOP) FOR THE OPTIMIZATION OF UMKM CENTERS IN TOURISM VILLAGES CIBURIAL SAUNG2025-04-02T10:07:33+07:00Gia Kardina Prima Armaniagia.kardina@unpad.ac.idSri Mulyanimulyani@gmail.comIndri Yuliafitriindri.yuliafitri@unpad.ac.id
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, but still face various challenges in effective and efficient business management. One solution to improve the professionalism and productivity of MSMEs is to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This community service aims to develop and implement SOPs at the UMKM Center Saung Ciburial, a business unit that plays a role in local economic empowerment. This activity is carried out with a participatory approach, which involves preliminary studies, focus group discussions (FGDs), SOP preparation training, intensive mentoring, and SOP implementation and monitoring. The results obtained show that the implementation of SOPs can improve operational efficiency, product consistency, and transparency in business management. With a clear and systematic SOP, Saung Ciburial MSME Center can operate more professionally and sustainably, so that it can compete in a wider market.
2025-03-14T10:29:24+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Indri Yuliafitri, Gia Kardina Prima Armania, Sri Mulyani
