Empowering Muslim Entrepreneurs through Economic Literacy: A Community-Based Discussion on Trade Tariffs and Islamic Values

This community service activity aimed to enhance the economic awareness of Muslim entrepreneurs in Cilebut, Bojong Gede, and Citayam by addressing recent global trade developments, particularly the resurgence of U.S. protectionist policies under President Donald Trump. The session, held at Majelis Ta’lim Al Mukhlisin, focused on the economic and geopolitical impact of trade tariffs and their implications for Indonesia and other developing countries. Participants explored how Trump’s trade war—both past (2017–2021) and present (2025)—disrupted global supply chains and posed new challenges and opportunities for countries like Indonesia. Beyond the geopolitical lens, the session also presented Islamic perspectives on trade, taxation, and international commerce. Key Islamic principles, supported by Qur’anic verses and Hadith, were discussed—emphasizing justice, consent, and the prohibition of unjust taxation (maks).The interactive format encouraged discussion and reflection, revealing strong interest from the audience in integrating Islamic economic values into real-world business decisions. As a result, this activity not only improved participants’ understanding of global trade dynamics but also deepened their commitment to sharia-compliant entrepreneurship. The outcomes highlight the importance of combining economic literacy with Islamic teachings to guide resilient and ethical business practices.

The implementation of SCM (Supply Chain Management) in the culinary world aims to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, reduce costs, and increase profits. Through a good SCM mechanism, customers must first be satisfied with the service and products provided by the restaurant. At Angkringan Podo Seneng, the implementation and evaluation of the application of SCM (Supply Chain Management) in improving customer satisfaction will be carried out. The research method is qualitative. This Angkringan has implemented several SCM (supply chain management) activities. This Angkringan has carried out production in accordance with efficient and effective SOPs, storing raw materials properly in the freezer, chiller and dry warehouse. New product creation has also been implemented, raw materials have been obtained through regular suppliers. Promotions and distribution of Google review links carried out to increase customer satisfaction were also carried out well and have an impact on customer satisfaction as can be seen through Angkringan Podo Seneng's Google reviews. Previously, the rating on Google was only 4.0 with a total of 185 reviewers, after that the rating increased to 4.6 with a total of 283 reviewers.

Digital literacy is crucial in today's information technology era, yet many students lack adequate access to these skills. This article examines the implementation of Microsoft Office training at SDN Curug, covering its objectives, methods, outcomes, and impact. The research findings indicate that the training successfully improved students' basic Microsoft Office skills, which in turn increased their readiness to face future technological challenges.
