Abstract
Regulation to reduce the number of cigarettes one epidemic is Health Act No. 36 of 2009 Section 115 of the No Smoking Area at 7 order , one of which is the place of teaching and learning process . UIKA which is a place where teaching and learning proses, there are still many students who smoke . Knowledge and attitudes of students regarding their smoking behavior is a description of the cigarette itself. This research is a quantitative study using survey method and cross sectional approach . Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique . UIKA students knowledge about smoking almost equal, the majority ( 56.2 % ) of respondents had good knowledge . UIKA student attitudes about smoking almost equal, the majority ( 50.8 % ) of respondents had a negative attitude towards smoking . The results of the analysis it was found that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and smoking behavior . UIKA Students are good knowledgeable have 4.42 times higher probability of not smoking than students UIKA less knowledgeable about smoking . There is a significant relationship between attitudes and smoking behavior. UIKA student have negative attitude have the opportunity to not smoke 21.67 times higher probability of positive attitude to smoking.The author suggests that education about the dangers of smoking implemented and the implementation of smoking regulations on campus UIKA also make the campus smoke-free area
