English subtitled movie is a learning media that suits the students’ needs in learning English, especially vocabulary learning. The purpose of this paper was to describe students' perceptions on the use of English subtitled movies as vocabulary learning media that were discussed in three aspects: effective, interesting and motivating learning media. The research data was taken using two instruments: questionnaire and interview.
