Abstract

Education is the most effective system in the process of forming people who are prepared to become citizens of a nation and state. Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. This definition that covers the goals and processes of education in an ideal and explicit manner is contained in the Law on the Indonesian National Education System. Problems arise when compiling the curriculum, especially teaching materials and learning methods. Especially when the Education Politics policy issued controversial regulations. Islam as a religion which has proven to be a milestone, and is able to lead humans to the level of personality and civilization, has not yet received a place and has become a significant material content in dealing with the problems of the complexity of education and socio-politics. Suspicion of Islamic teachings and material content is still a social phenomenon that is difficult to remove. This study aims to analyze and formulate social reform learning methods. And the Social Reform Learning Method in Islamic Political Education is the focus of this research. The method used in this research is library research. Several theories and philosophies underlying the social reform learning methods are studied comprehensively. This study succeeded in finding the Formulation of Social Reform Learning Methods as an effective methodology in Islamic Political Education. And it can be concluded that the Social Reform Learning Method can be applied and developed in the Political Education of a Nation, especially from an Islamic perspective and especially among Muslims.
